Throughout August, Boundless transformed Raine Square and Bankwest Place into vibrant literary destinations, celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling and community connection during Book Week. In partnership with Night Parrot Press and a diverse network of local authors, publishers, educators and community organisations, the month-long program invited audiences to engage with literature through author talks, writing workshops, book launches, storytelling sessions and interactive experiences.

The seven-week program returned for its third year from 27 May to 13 July, delivering a vibrant series of immersive First Nations art and cultural experiences. The program featured live music, dance, visual performances, storytelling, art exhibitions, pop-up shopping experiences, and radio broadcasts, inviting the local community to reflect on and celebrate the history, culture, and strength.

Raine Square and Bankwest Place Plaza came alive with colour, laughter and family fun as Easter Eggstravaganza delivered all‑ages egg hunts across multiple sessions, filling the CBD with joyful moments, sweet surprises and chocolate‑fuelled smiles; despite weather watch moments, the event rolled on seamlessly across indoor and outdoor spaces, proving once again that community connection sits at the heart of everything we do and making Easter in the city extra special for everyone who joined the hunt.

On Monday 23 March, Bankwest Place marked the spirit of Ramadan with a one‑day Ramadan Mubarak treat giveaway in the lobby. From 11am to 2pm, building staff were invited to redeem complimentary treats as a gesture of reflection, generosity and community, celebrating those observing Ramadan. A simple moment of connection that honoured the values at the heart of the holy month and brought our workplace community together.

16 Days in WA

We illuminated Wentworth in orange and hosted a giveaway for our building staff to show support and raise awareness for the elimination of violence against women. This initiative is part of 16 Days in WA, aligning with the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

We Are Here | PrideFest

Throughout November, Raine Square hosted PrideFEST’s “We Are Here” activation, turning the luxury precinct into a hub of pride and community. Guests enjoyed a dynamic program featuring runway shows, drag bingo, art installations, and storytelling that honored LGBTQIA+ voices and visibility. This celebration not only entertained but also reinforced Raine Square’s commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels seen and valued.

Bloom | Mental Health Month

From 14 September to 31 October, Raine Square hosted BLOOM: Mental Health & Wellness Month, a campaign dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing and self-care. The initiative featured a series of activations and resources designed to support the Perth community in prioritising mental health, encouraging mindfulness, and fostering a culture of care and connection.

Blue Tree Project 

At Raine Square, the Property Management team has transformed a once lifeless tree into a vibrant symbol of hope and awareness by painting it blue for the Blue Tree Project. Nestled between GUCCI and Louis Vuitton on Murray Street, this striking installation is more than just a splash of colour, it’s a reminder to our building community and Perth locals that mental health matters.

By bringing this initiative to Raine Square, we are helping to kick the stigma around mental health and create a safe space for open dialogue. It’s a small act with a big impact, one that encourages our community to pause, reflect, and support one another.

Purple Bra Day 

On 18 September, Raine Square supported Purple Bra Day, an annual fundraising initiative by Breast Cancer Care WA to help families facing breast cancer across the state. The campaign encouraged community-led fundraising activities and donations, with all proceeds supporting vital services such as specialist nursing, mental health care, and financial assistance for those affected.

Recycle Revolution

In September, Raine Square hosted Recycle Revolution, a month-long sustainability campaign in partnership with Containers for Change and Dismantle. The initiative featured interactive exhibitions, a recycling competition, creative fashion showcases, and community pop-ups promoting reuse, circular design, and eco-conscious living,  all aimed at inspiring Perth to take action for a greener future.

Wear it Purple with Bankwest 

In August, Raine Square proudly celebrated Wear It Purple Day in partnership with Bankwest and the Fremantle Dockers AFLW team, standing in solidarity with LGBTQIA+ youth under the theme Bold Voices, Bright Futures. The event featured a special appearance by AFLW star Kiara Bowers, a pop-up donation cart supporting inclusion initiatives, and a week-long activation encouraging the community to wear purple and pledge their support. Through visibility, education, and celebration, the campaign helped foster a safer, more inclusive future for young people across Australia.

Uniting WA Homelessness Week 

In August, Raine Square partnered with Uniting WA for The Path Home, a powerful Homelessness Week campaign that highlighted the human stories behind homelessness through large-scale murals, a short documentary, and lived experience storytelling.

A donation drive at Bankwest Place collected 1 overflowing shopping trolley worth of essential items for those supported by Uniting WA’s Tranby Engagement Hub, while a free webinar and personal narratives invited the community to better understand the systemic barriers to housing and the importance of connection in building a path home.

Maar Koodjal | NRW to NAIDOC Week

To celebrate National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week 2025, Raine Square proudly presented the return of Maar Koodjal. This seven-week program, which ran from 27 May to 13 July, featured immersive First Nations art and interactive cultural experiences, including live music, dance, visual performances, storytelling, art exhibitions, fashion showcases, and radio broadcasts.

The Art of Photography 

This immersive event featuring exhibitions and hands-on workshops. Participants enhanced their skills, connected with fellow enthusiasts, and enjoyed free corporate headshots. Highlights included Tony Blackwell’s rock ‘n’ roll photography exhibition and Jed Lyall’s creative portraits, offering a comprehensive exploration of photography.

This year we lit up the Wentworth and partnered with Spaces for a Purple Bra Day fundraising station in the Bankwest Place Plaza, supporting those going through treatment for Breast Cancer in WA.

Wear It Purple | Pride 

Bankwest and Raine Square partnered for a fundraising station and to light up the Wentworth Building Purple for Wear It Purple Day.

Together raising $2,000 for Wear it Purple supporting the awareness for safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people.

Winter Appeal 2024 x Anglicare WA  

Bankwest and Raine Square partnered to support the Anglicare WA Winter Appeal with a gallery and donation drive. To raise awareness of  young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness this winter.
